Position Overview:

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Engineering Sales Representative to join their client's team in Hartford County Connecticut. This role requires a dynamic individual who can combine engineering and CAD knowledge with exceptional sales skills to drive business growth and provide top-notch customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Understand client needs and offer solutions through product recommendations and demonstrations.
  • Work collaboratively with the engineering team to ensure technical accuracy and feasibility of proposals.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales while meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and competitive products to better serve clients.
  • Provide feedback to the product development team based on client interactions and market needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client communications in the CRM system.
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote products and services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in an engineering or technical field.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical information effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend events.

Required Work Hours:

Monday to Friday, 1st shift.
